Hello! Here is a simple step by step of how to create a Lookup Price Rule!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create the Custom Object and its Fields.
    1. The best way to do this is to make a CSV with your columns and some sample values. Then use the Lightning Object Creator<\/a> with your file to make the object.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    2. Price Rule Object
      1. Add New Custom Object API Name to Lookup Object field.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
      2. Lookup Query Object
        1. Add API names of Quote Line fields to the “Tested Field” field.<\/li>
        2. Add API names of Lookup Object fields (fields you want to compare) to the “Lookup Field” field.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
        3. Price Action Object
          1. Add API names of Quote Line fields (fields you want to pull values into from Lookup Object fields) to the “Target Field” field.<\/li>
          2. Make sure to update the dependency on the “Target Field” field to enable the new values you entered for the Quote Line object.<\/li>
          3. Add API names of Lookup Object fields (fields you want to pull values from into Quote Line fields) to the “Source Lookup Field” field.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
          4. Create Lookup Price Rule
            1. Set Lookup Object field to API name of your Lookup Object.<\/li>
            2. Set Calculator Evaluation Event to “After Calculate”.<\/li>
            3. Create Lookup Query(s)
              1. There should be 1 Lookup Query per field comparison.<\/li>
              2. Set Match Type to “Field Value”.<\/li>
              3. Set Tested Field field to API name of the Quote Line field to compare.<\/li>
              4. Set Lookup Field field to API name of the Lookup Object field to compare.<\/li>
              5. Set Operator field to how you would like to compare the above two fields.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
              6. Create Price Action(s)
                1. Set Target Field field to API name of the Quote Line field to inject the value into.<\/li>
