The Problem
<\/strong>If you’re dealing with amendments on MDQ products, you may have realized you can’t do this…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click Amend on Contract<\/li>
  2. Set Start Date past first segment<\/li>
  3. Save Quote<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You get the below error:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Answer
    <\/strong>Huzzah! There is an answer! The answer is…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Contract -> Amendment Start Date<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Set Amendment Start Date on Contract past first segment<\/li>
    2. Click Amend on Contract<\/li>
    3. Set Start Date past first segment<\/li>
    4. Save Quote<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      No error! Happy Quoting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Another thing!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you do the above and find that the amendment is showing all 4 segments, it’s because you’re setting the Quote Start Date to the Contract Start Date on Insert of Amendment Quote. Don’t do that!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
